Dear Citizens, Welcome to the website of Prešov Self-Governing Region (PSR). Our region, which is the most populous in Slovakia, can boast one-of-a-kind historical sights as well as unique natural heritage. We have the highest concentration of cultural sights in Slovakia, the highest number of unique objects listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the most diversified and best preserved nature. We would like to introduce all this to you; therefore our website has been divided into three sections: the first one informing about goings on in the regional self-government, the second offering basic facts about the region, and the third section introducing the most spectacular and most interesting places in the region.
